Long before eco-awareness became chic in Hollywood, actor Ed Begley, Jr., was pioneering the green scene in a house rigged like few others for doing right by the environment. But conservation and comfort don’t always go hand in hand, to the occasional frustration of his wife Rachelle and the delight of fans of their pro-planet reality series, Living with Ed.
Kermit the frog isn’t the only one who thinks it’s not easy being green. But in the case of Rachelle Carson, wife of actor Ed Begley Jr., it’s not the color green, but rather the green lifestyle of her eco-zealot husband, that presents the challenge.
