on Aug 19th, 2008The ride on the Express was a very good experience.

The ride on the Express was a very good experience. At first it felt weird riding the express, but after couple minutes on the bike I got the hang of it. The motor isn’t constant powered, so it gives assistance only when pedaling. This is a bike for a person that loves speed. The motor and the pedals are not directly fixed on the rear hub, so it doesn’t feel like the motor is doing all the work. Getting to the speed achieved is with the motor assist, but you have to put in the effort too. Every morning I commute to work on the Express. I ride from Linsdley and San Fernando Mission Blvd to Plummers and Owensmouth. It is about six miles and it only takes me about 15 minutes. On a car it will take me 10 minutes. With an additional 10 minutes everyday from home to work and back, I can get most of my exercise of the day.
